Walmart Cake & Baked Goods - Review Series Kickoff

Since moving near to a Walmart two years ago, I've started shopping at Walmart very frequently. Walmart has been a great place to search for discounts, cheaper products, a great area for exercise (walking), and a store for great inspiration/ideas (checking for new products and understanding new trends).

Recently, I've started purchasing some of the cakes & baked goods from Walmart and it has rather been a great surprise. Since then, I decided to try out different cakes at Walmart. That's when I thought it would be nice to share some of my experience and review the cakes that I will be enjoying! Walmart is easily accessible for many, affordable, and the best part is that you can get the goods on a discount if you are patient.

I'll be trying different cakes in the coming days and will be providing my personal review on each of them. I'll be ranking each cakes and the ranking table. Hopefully, it'll help you decide the best cakes to try out! I'll be scoring each cakes on the basis of:

1. Taste - 30 points

2. Visual - 20 points

3. Texture - 20 points

4. Price - 15 points

5. Extra Features - 10 points

6. Personal Bias - 5 points

which will total to 100 points.

Taste - this is obviously the most important when reviewing any food and therefore will be the biggest chunk of it all (30 points).

Visual - when people eat, the appearance of the food is essential. Color, size, shape, height, and the structure of the cake will all be considered here (20 points).

Texture - the moist, the dryness, the creaminess, the crunchiness, the softness, and the hardness are all essential to the experience (20 points).

Price - for most, including myself, the price has to match the food I'm eating. Therefore, I will judge the cake if it is worth the price (15 points).

Extra Features - every cake has its own uniqueness and therefore this category will address that (10 points).

Personal Bias - everyone is a biased person and therefore will have to be honest. I have left this category to provide my personal opinion but also left it as the smallest chunk for points (5 points).
